The Therapeutic Massage program is a 12-month (four-term) program that prepares students with a strong knowledge base and professional skills in therapeutic massage. Therapeutic massage is a branch of complementary health care that works to improve a person’s health and well-being through hands-on manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues of the body. Massage therapists work in medical, spa and health club settings as well as in private practice and businesses. Upon successful completion of the classroom, laboratory and clinical portions of the program, the student will graduate with a diploma in Therapeutic Massage. Graduates are eligible to apply to take the Massage Board Licensing Examination (MBLEX)
