Welcome to Indian Hills Community College! At Indian Hills Community College, our mission is to change lives by “inspiring learning, diversity, social enrichment, and regional economic advancement.” Indian Hills Community College has a long-standing relationship with the 10 Counties served by the College – meeting both the education and training needs within our region.
We appreciate the partnerships we have with area school districts to enroll students through concurrent enrollment and career academies providing students and families with a tremendous start to their post-secondary education, while saving families over $5.3 million per year. The work we complete with business and industry training impacts the growth of area businesses and provides quality employment within our region. We are proud to positively impact students, families, and the communities served across our 10-County Region while contributing over $235 million back into our regional economy each year. Students who start at Indian Hills have the opportunity to enroll in more than 100 degree, diploma or certificate options that lead to jobs in high-paying in-demand fields or prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university.
With over 86% of Indian Hills graduates remaining in our 10-County Region working in healthcare, advanced manufacturing, information technology, and transportation careers, we help fuel the local economy. With performing and visual arts programming and nationally recognized inter-collegiate athletics, our students and communities enjoy social enrichment opportunities that are second to none. We are thankful to have high quality programs with great faculty and staff members who truly care about the success of our students. As the fifth president of Indian Hills, I am honored to lead and serve at Indian Hills Community College. I look forward to meeting you on one of our three college campuses or within one of our communities in southern Iowa.
