Offered at North Campus

This 18-month (six-term) program is a continuation of the college’s four-term Welding Technology diploma. Completing the A.A.S. degree will enhance the graduate’s opportunities for career upward mobility.

During the first four terms of the program, students perform welds in the following processes: GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and Oxy-Acetylene. The program is American Welding Society (AWS) Accredited, therefore students will have the opportunity to certify in GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes. In the final three terms, the student will advance their fabrication, machining, and welding (e.g. Pipe and Robotics) skills, learn more about Lean concepts, and dive deeper into quality assurance.

To enroll, complete an application and attend any required academic orientation and information session. Students may enter this program at the beginning of either Fall or Spring terms.
