Associate of Arts Degree in Fine Arts

Students who intend to complete an Associate of Arts Degree in Fine Arts and transfer to a four-year institution should consult with an Indian Hills Academic Advisor and the four-year institution to determine any additional requirements at the four-year institution.

The Fine Arts Transfer Major provides a foundation for students interested in the life sciences. Graduates of the Fine Arts Transfer Major will receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Fine Arts.

Offered at Ottumwa Campus

This area of concentration provides an excellent foundation for students interested in transferring to a four-year college to earn a baccalaureate degree with a major in one of the several areas of fine arts education. The program may also apply to those students who want to take selected courses to fulfill general education requirements. The curriculum focuses on studies in art, design, and the history of art.  The courses combine creative experiences with technical training in the skills and aesthetic principles of various art forms.
